This former 1900 police station beautifully restored into a luxury home offers the most privileged location to experience the city of Amsterdam.

This 100m2 luxury apartment has a charming balcony with an exquisite wrought art deco style railing and white French doors that open wide to offer a spectacular overview of Leidse Square. The atmosphere is classical with solid wooden floors, stylish furniture, elegant ornamentation and yet you are in the hottest spot in town.


The living/dining area has an ample sofa bed, an armchair, a coffee table, a dining table with four designer chairs and for your leisure time there is a Flat Screen television and a DVD player. The spacious kitchen is fitted out with professional stainless steel appliances, fully equipped so you can prepare your own meals and for your convenience there is a washing machine.


The two bedrooms are serenely white, the master suite has a double bed and it has plenty of closet space. The other room has two cosy single beds. The bathroom is very spacious featuring a full jet stream shower stall and a relaxing bathtub.The Leidseplein Presidential 1 is on the second floor floor and it can house six persons. Important information:Please note that the elevator in the building is located on the first floor and not on the ground floor.


From the ground floor two flight of stairs are to be taken to reach the first floor.As this apartment is located in one of the most vibrant night-life centers of Amsterdam, there will be an increased level of sound from the surrounding area.

Location
Right at your doorstep is the famous Leidseplein Square, vibrating with bars, restaurants, clubs and theatres. Surrounding the square there are many terraces where you can sit and chill out, sip a drink while people watching or just be entertained by street bands or performers.

Located on the square are the Stadsschouwburg municipal theatre, the Leidseplein Theatre, Paradiso and Melkweg Theatres, the Nieuwe De La Mar Theater also the entrance to the Vondelpark municipal park, the Holland Casino and the City Theatre cinema. From here you can walk the whole city

Board a train from “Schiphol Airport” to station “Amsterdam Lelylaan”. From “Amsterdam Lelylaan” take the Tram 17 or 1 to metrostop: “Leidseplein“  [1min walk to the apartment] Extra note: The Public Transport System is very safe and secure in Amsterdam.

Board the BusLine 397 from “Schiphol Airport” to bus stop: “Leidseplein”  from Leidseplein it’s a one minute walk to the apartment.

Terms & Conditions

Online payment is a pre-payment with a balance due upon arrival

  • The paid pre-payment is non-refundable at any time, not even in case of force majeure.
  • Bookings cancelled less than 21 days before the start of the stay will be charged with 100% of the balance due.
  • By accepting our terms and conditions during the booking process you provide us with the right to charge your credit card with the balance due in case of a late cancellation or no show situation.
  • Cancellations must be made by 12 midday CET (Central European Time) on the appropriate day.

The apartment provider reserves the right to cancel or alter the booking:

  1. If the guest(s) are not able to pay the online payment and/or remaining balance upon arrival.
  2. If the guest(s) are not able to show their passport, id card or driver’s license upon arrival.
  3. If the guest(s) are not able to provide a security deposit in form of a valid credit card.
  4. The apartment(s) or part of it is closed due to circumstances beyond its control.
  5. It prejudices the reputation or causes or might cause in the apartment providers opinion, damage to the apartments and its common areas.
  6. The apartment provider becomes insolvent or enters into liquidation or receivership.

The apartment provider will not be liable for any delay, loss, damage or expenses incurred if your booking needs to be altered or cancelled or the apartment provider is unable to perform the contractual obligations as a result of events beyond his reasonable control, which shall include but not be limited to events such as war, civil strife, terrorist activity, labor disputes, natural or man-made disaster, fire, flood, adverse weather conditions or change of local government laws. In any of these circumstances the apartment provider will refund any payments made in advance, but will have no further liability to the Client. If the apartment provider receives serious complaints or any disputes arise, he reserves the right to terminate your stay without notice and refunding payments.
